Wear A Hat Day is back and will be taking place on Friday 25th March 2022. It is an important fundraising and awareness event that people all across the UK (and beyond) support every year. You can wear a hat at school, at work or in your local community. There are no limits on how you can take part – whatever you do to get involved will help spread the message and raise vital funds for a good cause.
“Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease”
Brain Tumour Research
In 2021, Brain Tumour Research raised £6 million which went towards funding vital lifesaving projects, but your help is more important now than ever before. You can register your support for Wear A Hat Day or take on a physical challenge, like the London Landmarks Half Marathon which will see you running around the iconic sights of the capital including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye. You can also raise money in your own way. Whatever help you can give will ensure the research into the disease (as well as a cure) can continue, not just in the UK but around the world.
