Stevenage FC Foundation is seeking highly motivated, responsible, and committed individuals to work within its expanding community programme.
The Foundation is looking to recruit an Employability Skills Tutor to deliver the Foundation’s “Training Ground” programme in partnership with the EFL Trust, consisting of employability programmes to those who are furthest from the job market into further training and employment, through developing their personal and social skills.
The role requires a passion for delivering innovative courses, programmes and activities using football and the brand of Stevenage Football Club to engage unemployed adults.
The successful application will be required to network with local agencies in the public, private and voluntary sectors to deliver positive outcomes for project participants. In addition, the successful person will help develop the Foundation’s alternative learning provision, whilst also supporting the Foundation’s community activities and events, in particular linking programmes to our wider Health & Wellbeing work.
- Job Title: Employability Skills Tutor
- Reports To: Head of Education & School Sport
- Location: Based at Stevenage FC Foundation office, The Lamex Stadium, Broadhall Way, Stevenage, SG2 8RH. Some travel to locations in Stevenage and surrounding areas. Flexibility to work remotely on an ad hoc basis.
- Contract: Full Time (38 hours per week). Flexibility is expected, with some evening and weekend work required
- Salary: £21,000 per annum + performance related incentives
