If the position for which you are applying may involve contact with vulnerable groups, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all subsequent amendments (England and Wales). Part-Time Contract (20-25 Hours Per Week) – Plus Enhanced Overtime Included
Stevenage FC Foundation is seeking highly motivated, responsible and committed individuals to work within its expanding community programme.
The Foundation is looking to add a community coach to support and deliver on a number of projects across our organisation including holiday camps, match day packages, community programmes including Premier League Kicks, and in particular the schools programme & extra-curricular activities.
All applicants are expected to have:
– A minimum FA Level 2 / UEFA C certificate
– Up to date emergency aid and child protection certificates
– Be willing to complete a full FA DBS check
– Driving License and access to vehicle
Hours typically delivered between 12pm – 8pm, Monday to Saturday, some flexibility to support other sessions may be required from time to time

Hourly Rate Dependant On Qualifications / Weekly Hours Are Variable
Stevenage FC Foundation is seeking enthusiastic coaches to deliver a number of projects in Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages. Applicants will have a flexible approach to work, with a particular focus on afternoon, evening, weekend and school holiday sessions. Delivery will include supporting sessions such as After-School Clubs, Soccer Camps, Premier League Kicks, Pay & Play, Matchday Experiences and more.
All coaches are expected to have:
– A minimum FA Level 1 certificate / FA Level 2 certificate (desirable)
– Up to date emergency aid and child protection certificates
– Be willing to complete a full FA DBS check
– Driving License and access to vehicle is desirable

Seasonal Contracts For School Holiday Periods – Weekly Rates Of Pay
Stevenage FC Foundation have partnered with Herts Sports Partnership (HSP) to offer free activity camps to school-aged children, with an aim to tackle the inequalities of holiday hunger, social isolation, physical inactivity, and educational attainment experienced by children from low-income families during the school holidays as part of the Fit, Fed & Read (FFR) project.
We are actively recruiting sports coaches, teachers, arts & crafts, and people who have experience & enjoy working with children & young people. Each day of camps offers children sports and physical activity, enrichment (soft starts, themed arts and crafts, outdoor activities and games), and lunch.
Weekly rates of pay are dependent on role, including:
Camp Leader: £500 / Camp Assistant: £375 / Camp Activator: £225 – £315
Our camps run in the following locations:
All staff are expected to have:
– Hold an in date first aid qualification (taken within the last 3 years)
– Hold a minimum Level 1 Safeguarding qualification (taken within the last 2 years)
– Be willing to complete a full Enhanced DBS check
– Ability to independently commute to and from venues

The Foundation receives a substantial amount of requests for work experience placements throughout the year. Unfortunately we are unable to meet the demand and ask that requests are made through schools. Preference will be given to partner schools, where possible.
