Minimum 25 Hours Per Week With Overtime Hours Also Available
The Foundation is looking to add a community coach to support and deliver on a number of projects including holiday camps, match day packages, community programmes including Premier League Kicks, and in particular the schools programme & extra-curricular activities.
Coaches will also provide support to the Senior Leadership Team and Project Officers to deliver funded projects across the Foundation.
The candidate must have a good in-depth knowledge of the school curriculum as well as school based and grassroots sport. Previous experience of delivering within both school & community settings is essential, with activities delivered to participants aged 2 – 92.
Job Title: Community Sports Coach
Reports To: Senior Leadership Team
Location: Various locations across Stevenage and Hertfordshire
Contract: Minimum 25 hours per week. As a requirement for the role, due to the nature of the post some evening and weekend work will be necessary, in particular Saturday mornings
Salary: £18,970 (full time pro rata equivalent) plus opportunity for overtime hours
Required Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 NGB Coaching Qualification

Stevenage FC Foundation is seeking enthusiastic coaches to deliver a number of projects in Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages. Applicants will have a flexible approach to work, with a particular focus on evening, weekend and school holiday sessions. Delivery will include supporting sessions such as Soccer Camps, Premier League Kicks, Pay & Play, Matchday Experiences and more.
All coaches are expected to have:
– A minimum FA Level 1 certificate / FA Level 2 certificate (desirable)
– Up to date emergency aid and child protection certificates
– Be willing to complete a full FA DBS check
– Driving License and access to vehicle is desirable

Hourly Rate Dependant On Session Type / Weekly Hours Are Variable
The Foundation is looking to add a number of sessional staff to the team, to support the delivery of our Health & Wellbeing based programmes.
Coaches will lead and assist on programmes associated with our Health & Wellbeing related programmes including the delivery of our weight management programme, Shape Up, and supporting the Live Longer Better programme by delivering Chair-Based Exercises sessions.
The activators will deliver in primarily in East Herts (Bishops Stortford), North Herts and Stevenage, enabling individuals to enjoy physical activity and encourage them to sustain active, healthy and positive lives.
The candidates should have previous experience of delivering healthy lifestyle-based programmes, whether that be in a private or community setting.
Rates of pay are dependent on session type, including Chair-Based – £30 Per Hour / Shape Up Lead – £30 Per Hour / Shape Up Assistant – £20 Per Hour
All activators are expected to have:
– Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualification (desirable)
– Level 3 Personal Training Qualification (desirable)
– Be willing to complete a full FA DBS check
– Driving License and access to vehicle is desirable

Hours:
Training – Tuesdays 20:00-22:00 & Wednesdays 20:00-21:30
Matchdays – Sunday, KO usually 2pm. Some Tuesday night games, 7:30/45pm KO
Salary:£100 per week for training and matchdays.
Note: The particular duties and responsibilities attached to this post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.
As the Physio for Stevenage FC Women, your duties will include the following:
• To assess, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate all injuries and illnesses, analysing and designing the safest and quickest strategy to ensure a full return to training. • Prescribe and implement rehabilitation plans whilst working with the First Team/Development Team Manager. • To communicate injury status, rehabilitation strategies and return to training projections to the management team. • Provide pitch side assistance for one training session a week and all home/away matchdays. • To maintain accurate and updated medical records of all players.
• Research injuries and stay abreast with the latest developments in research and treatment. Continued professional development and reading around the area is essential. • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with members of staff across the wider coaching team. • Ability to work under pressure and to work unsociable hours. • Organised, methodical and logical approach to work.
• To be an advocate for best practice and to promote the messages of the Stevenage FC Foundation, Football Association, English Football League Trust, Premier League Communities and other partners.
The successful candidate must hold a minimum Sports Therapy degree.
