Inspiring Young People. Building Brighter Futures.

Premier League Inspires is a targeted personal development programme delivered by Stevenage FC Foundation, using the power and appeal of football to engage, inspire and support young people.

Working in partnership with local schools, the programme provides additional support for young people who may be experiencing challenges with engagement, confidence,
relationships, attitudes towards learning or their aspirations for the future.

Through interactive workshops, group activities, mentoring and positive experiences, participants are encouraged to recognise their strengths, develop essential skills and build the confidence needed to make positive choices and reach their potential.

The connection to Stevenage FC provides a unique and engaging platform to reach young people, while our experienced delivery team creates a supportive environment where participants can learn, reflect and develop.

Benefits for Young People

Premier League Inspires gives young people the opportunity to develop the personal, social
and practical skills that can support them both in education and beyond.
Participants will have opportunities to:
● Build confidence and self-belief
● Develop communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
● Improve resilience and decision-making
● Develop more positive attitudes towards learning and education
● Build stronger relationships with peers and trusted adults
● Explore their strengths, interests and future opportunities
● Develop greater confidence in their ability to succeed
● Raise their aspirations and hopes for the future
The programme encourages young people to take ownership of their development,
recognise their progress and begin to see positive possibilities for their future

Benefits for Schools

Premier League Inspires is designed to complement the support already available within
school.
We work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to provide a targeted intervention for identified
young people, helping to address barriers that may be affecting their engagement, progress
and wider school experience.
By partnering with Stevenage FC Foundation, schools can benefit from:
● Targeted support for young people who need it most
● An engaging and alternative approach to personal development
● Positive role models and trusted adults
● Support to improve engagement and attitudes towards learning
● Opportunities to strengthen relationships and social skills
● Additional capacity to complement existing pastoral support
● Regular communication and collaboration around participant progress
Our aim is not to replace the support already in place, but to work alongside schools to
provide another positive and meaningful opportunity for young people to develop.
