Premier League Primary Stars is a new Premier League schools programme launched in the autumn term of 2016. Stevenage FC Foundation are one of 92 clubs that have received funding to deliver Primary Stars to local Primary Schools in our community.
Using the appeal of football and sport to connect and inspire, we have committed to extending our Premier League schools offer to every primary school in England and Wales.
Under the banner of Premier League Primary Stars, the programme aims to develop skills and ambition both on and off the sports field with resources for girls and boys aged 5-11 years old.
Curriculum-linked Key Stage 1 and 2 classroom resources are available for PE, as well as Maths, English and Enterprise. New PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic) resources use an array of sport examples to promote equality and diversity, encourage life skills such as teamwork and resilience and deliver key messaging such as anti-bullying. These are available alongside a programme of activities, events and teacher support delivered Stevenage FC Foundation.
