The SFCF Schools Team works with partnered schools in many communities to provide sport to educational institutions and positively impact students. We offer a wide variety of sessions for school children from infants all the way up to secondary school and college.
Our work within schools is supported by many including the Premier League, who support us with The Premier League Primary Stars Programme and the EFL who support us in delivering the Move & Learn Programme.
We pride ourselves on the relationships we build with schools to ensure that the services we provide are bespoke to meet each schools individual needs. Our high standards, skilled staff and quality resources make for the perfect sport package for your school.
What Our Partnered Schools Say
I think the Joy of Moving programme is the perfect programme to allow children to understand how to live an active and balanced lifestyle whilst appreciating the benefits of physical activity. Having delivered the programme on numerous occasions I can see the impact it can have on a young child’s life. This can be something as small as changing their diets to include more healthier options or finding a newfound love of physical activity
We have thoroughly enjoyed having Stevenage FC Foundation in to deliver the Joy of Moving programme. The content worked well in terms of a balance between written activities and outdoor games. The children were enthusiastic and eager to learn, and all completed the homework tasks each week. The practical delivery was great as it reinforced the learning from the theory, and it kept them thinking.
The Joy of Moving programme has been a huge success in Year 5. I have been able to observe both the theory and practical sessions, all children have been engaged and learning is taking place in an active and fun way. All members of staff from Stevenage FC have been professional, punctual and motivational when delivering their lessons. Children look forward to the sessions taking place and are keen to impress.
“We have been working with the foundation for a number of years providing in class and after-school activities. Whether it is their Aspire, ABC or after-school fitness club, the foundation have supported the school to help us fulfil our school motto inspiring an ambition to learn”
“It’s great to see all the children engaged and involved and seeing some of the less sporty one’s keen to take part in lessons. They are learning a variety of skills not always associated with PE, such as silent communication”
“A professional organisation and a very comprehensive package. The coach led sessions, after school clubs, player visits and all round support have really raised the profile of football and sport in our school.” Highly recommended!”
