This week is National Storytelling Week, and Boro Bear wants you to write a short story about his big day out!
Like you, Boro Bear has been inside for the last few years, but he is now ready to go out for a big adventure, and so he wants you to help him decide what he gets up to, where he goes and who he meets.
Your story must be around an A4 page, have a beginning, middle and end and of course star Boro Bear as the main character. Think about the setting for your story (where is Boro Bear going?), as well as the plot (what will he be doing when he gets there?). If you want to be extra creative, you could even design your own front cover as well!
Stories must be submitted by Wednesday 9th February and can be entered via this form. We are looking forward to seeing where Boro Bear goes on his adventures!
Prizes
- The winner will have their story printed in the official Stevenage FC matchday programme
- They will also be invited to the same SFC home game to be interviewed on the pitch
- We will choose a few other stories to post on our website and social media channels – children could win prizes like match day tickets, goodby bags with Stevenage FC merchandise and certificates
This competition is for children up to 12 years old. We will be splitting the entries into three categories, Foundation, KS1 and KS2, to ensure it is fair for all who enter. Good luck!
