Stevenage FC Foundation is offering FREE football for teenagers at the Hertfordshire FA Community Football Centre in Letchworth this upcoming half term.
On Thursday 28th and Friday 29th October, anyone aged 13 to 18 years old will be able to access 5 hours of free football, facilitated by Foundation staff on the state of the art 3G surface at The County Ground on Baldock Road. Young people can simply turn up between 11am and 3pm either on their own or with a group of friends and can stay for as long as they like during that time.
Youth Engagement Officer, Luke Foster said “We had some really good turnout in the summer with our HAPpy programme, offering free football to young people in the area and we wanted to make sure that even though that programme is running during October, that young people in the area still had something to be involved with during half term. Young people can just walk up to the session or parents can bring their children and they can be with us for the day”.
“This is all part of our Premier League Kicks programme that we run across Hertfordshire and we have a new weekly free session starting at The Arena in Baldock on Thursday nights (5-6pm), so after half term, they can carry on coming to our sessions with the people they meet over these two days”.
