Stevenage FC Foundation are asking the local community for their views on the charity, to help shape the future of the organisation.
After the recent launch of the Foundation’s Impact Report, the focus now switches to the future and a call to action for any community groups, organisation or individuals in the local community that would that would like to contribute to the development of the charity’s new strategy.
To date, the Foundation has already held extensive consultation sessions with its staff, trustees and local partner organisations including EFL Trust, Premier League Charitable Fund, Stevenage Borough Council, Herts Sports Partnership, Public Health Hertfordshire, Welwyn Hatfield District Council, Hertfordshire FA and more.
Foundation CEO, Joe Goude is looking forward to hearing what the community has to say:
“In 2016, Stevenage FC Foundation created a vision to provide opportunities for our community to realise their potential. In the last five years, the world, our community and their needs have changed.
To reflect this change, the Foundation has committed to developing a new vision, with the aim of creating a strategy document that will clearly show how we intend to support our community as we move past the Covid-19 pandemic and in coming years.
Part of this process is to hear from as many people as possible, to give you an opportunity to help shape and steer this strategy, in order to ensure that it delivers what our community wants and needs.”
