As a community organisation, the health and wellbeing of people within our communities is of paramount importance.
Therefore, in light of the Government announcement on Saturday 31st October we continue to adhere to UK Government and Public Health guidelines in regards to the delivery of our activities.
After being able to restart the majority of our delivery back in August, as well as returning to 50% of our partner schools at the beginning of the academic year, we are now unfortunately in the position whereby we will be pausing our face to face community based delivery.
From 10pm on Wednesday 4th November, the following sessions will be paused:
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that is caused by these postponements but will still be engaging with people digitally during this period and if you are a current participant then you’ll be contacted by the relevant lead officer with more information.
SCHOOL DELIVERY
Our support and services to schools remains open and will continue as normal in line with Government guidance.
This will include all curricular (Primary Stars + Move & Learn) and case by case extra-curricular delivery (Breakfast, Lunch and After-School Clubs).
We intend to work with our partner schools to support them through this very difficult time in any way we can and are in a position to support more
LOCKDOWN SUPPORT
In the last few days the Foundation has held discussions with a number of key partners including Stevenage Borough Council, Food Shed, Lister Hospital and others to understand what role we can play during this next lockdown period and into the latter stages of the year.
We are currently putting plans in place to address key issues such as loneliness, mental health and keeping people active during the next few months. A further update will be provided with a weekly timetable of what we be available and how you can access our support, early next week.
