As a community organisation, the health and wellbeing of people within our communities is of paramount importance. Therefore, we continue to adhere to UK Government and Public Health guidelines in regards to the delivery of our activities.
Further to our notice on Friday 13th March () we have made the decision to temporarily postpone the following sessions as a precautionary measure in line with advice from the Premier League, The FA and EFL:
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that is caused by these postponements and we will provide updates as soon as we can with more information.
Our support and services to schools remains open and will continue as normal in line with Government guidance.
This will include all curricular (Primary Stars + Move & Learn) and extra-curricular delivery (Breakfast, Lunch and After-School Clubs).
We intend to work with our partner schools to support them through this very difficult time in any way we can.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR WELLBEING
During this time we appreciate that circumstances will place considerable stress on people that we want to try and assist with in any way we can. With that said, please see below some useful links that we’ve been sent from our key partners which you may find useful:

In the very near future the Foundation will be providing a digital download of fun resources for you to use at home with young children either during self-isolation or any other circumstances. This will include word searches, colouring, maths quizzes and more.
We are also working on a version of this for adults and those deemed particularly vulnerable or at risk and most likely needing to self-isolate.
We are exploring how we can make hard copies available to those that don’t have access to printers and will update on this when we can.
From Monday 23rd March, we will be supporting the Stevenage Football Club initiative – Coronavirus Community Careline – which will look to provide non-medical advice and support, using Club staff working from a single telephone number.
The number to call will be revealed on Monday morning and lines will be open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. The objective is to provide services in four areas:
- Foodbank Donations & Deliveries
- Senior Kitchen
- Community Service
- Friendly Chat
In addition to this, Foundation staff will be making phone calls to our more vulnerable participants to check-in on them and offer a friendly voice and ear to ensure that no one feels alone during this period.
