To support our community in the coming weeks and with more and more people having to self-isolate due to the COVID-19 virus, Stevenage FC Foundation have created an online resources library of different activities, hints & tips to keep you occupied.
With activity packs for children, advice of staying active, education resources from the Premier League Primary Stars programme, as well as links to other fantastic groups that are supporting our community during this time, the page will be continually refreshed over the coming weeks.
Foundation Chief Executive, Joe Goude said:
“We fully appreciate that this period is not going to be easy for people, and now with schools closing to the majority of pupils from Friday, we are trying to do what we can to give people something else to occupy their time.
There is some amazing stuff going on in our community already and we hope that this can contribute in some small way.
We’ll continue to add more content as we come across it and we’re currently developing an adults activity download as well including some simple home based exercises, adult colouring, quizzes and more. We’re also exploring the feasibility of posting these packs out to people as well as including them in the Stevenage FC Coronavirus Community Careline services, where packs can be dropped alongside some of the other services on offer.”
The Foundation will be continuing to offer support to schools and are reaching out to any that require assistance in the coming weeks.
