Kindness can make a world of difference to someone’s day, no matter how small, which is why this week we are supporting Anti Bullying Week by wearing odd socks. Since 2002, the Anti Bullying Alliance have been running their campaign which aims to raise awareness of the negative impacts of bullying. Being kind can change someone’s perspective and provide a moment of hope.
“The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us”
Anti Bullying Alliance
Last year, 80% of schools in the UK took part in Anti Bullying Week which helped reach 7.5 million children and young people. Kindness is more important now than ever before, and even small acts can make a huge difference. You could:
- Smile at others
- Hold the door open
- Say thank you
- Grab a coffee with friends
- Ask people how they are
There are so many ways you can be kind to people, so we encourage you to think about what you could do to those around you. Get involved and show us what you’re doing on social media, as we’d love to see!
